Montague Place (behind the British Museum) & Russell Square
In conjunction with the London Festival of Architecture 2008 we plan a picnic with a difference:
Bring your locally produced fruit and vegetables (self-grown or bought from local growers) to the Inverted Market from 10am - 12 noon at: Montague Place (behind the British Museum).
Enter any of our various fruit and vegetable competitions judged for the best and most sustainably-sourced produce.
Win Fantastic food prizes.
Join the giant Picnic for lunch from 12 noon - 4pm. Bring your own food, or buy a hamper to enjoy a meal in the open air surrounded by FREE events, exhibitions, workshops, musical performances, open-air theatre and dancing.
Then from 4pm - 6pm Community Composting. Learn how local communities and local food producers can reuse your rubbish and leftovers.
